Went to watch Autechre in Hamburg on Wednesday, as we were walking across the city, which is a fairly cool place as it happens, we spotted this evil looking old Nazi bunker. It turned out the gig was inside it which made the show pretty amazing, from what I can remember. Sweeping statement time, Germans from Hamburg are very serious, I was told three times to please stop talking. And just briefly, we found a brilliant little punk/metal bar across the road from the Nazi bunker with a bar football table and cheap beers and they we playing Slint records. Unfortunately we had to leave pretty sharpish because there was an angry Welshman in our party who wanted to fight everybody.
