It’s day 5 of http://acousticprogress.com, the traffic is already shaping up, the site ranks 1st on GSERP for my chosen keywords and I’m feeling pretty enthusiastic about the whole project. I’m more than a little concerned that I’ll run out of ideas before the year is up but that’s really what this project is about, finding new ideas and exploring other ways of approaching the acoustic guitar, to test myself and to keep the musical grey matter churning. If you have any requests about what kind of thing you’d like to see me play then get in touch, I could even write a little ditty for your wedding/funeral/cats birthday. Other than that, if you are following the project  I’d appreciate you getting in touch to offer a little encouragement now and then, this will help keep me from slowly buckling up into a tight ball of paranoid misery, choking on the Black Bile of my own self loathing and ashamed of myself that I thought for one second anybody would be interested in my shitty, and frankly pathetic, piss-poor project. Newsflash - Wordpress is toilet.

As you’ve probably worked out already I’ve replaced the old-blog with this shiny new tumblr. The old blog is still available and is accessible from the oldblog link at the top of this page. I’ve gone over to tumblr because posting and editing posts on here is a complete and utter breeze, posting by e-mail is the big seller for me but there’s also a swanky iPhone app available, you can phone in audio from your phone as well as a bunch of other insanely simple ways to post content quickly, neatly and with very little fuss.
