It’s day 5 of http://acousticprogress.com, the traffic is already shaping up, the site ranks 1st on GSERP for my chosen keywords and I’m feeling pretty enthusiastic about the whole project. I’m more than a little concerned that I’ll run out of ideas before the year is up but that’s really what this project is about, finding new ideas and exploring other ways of approaching the acoustic guitar, to test myself and to keep the musical grey matter churning. If you have any requests about what kind of thing you’d like to see me play then get in touch, I could even write a little ditty for your wedding/funeral/cats birthday. Other than that, if you are following the project  I’d appreciate you getting in touch to offer a little encouragement now and then, this will help keep me from slowly buckling up into a tight ball of paranoid misery, choking on the Black Bile of my own self loathing and ashamed of myself that I thought for one second anybody would be interested in my shitty, and frankly pathetic, piss-poor project. The launch of acousticprogress.com draws ever nearer, it kicks off on March 27th to what will likely be the barely audible sound of a worm farting about 18 feet underground.

All Change

All change at this end, I’m leaving KNP officially on Friday, I have a few things in the pipeline to get me started in the new venture, I’m terrified because I can’t see past the end of the month, but I’m very excited too. If I don’t try I’ll never know if I can survive alone.

My new business will be loosely based around Corporate Video Production but I’m also getting involved in some great creative projects too, I’m currently looking to collaborate on unusual and bespoke video projects, if you have something in mind, especially if you’re a band and would like to take advantage of my generous startup prices then get in touch via paul.higham@gmail.com

Already taking advantage of this offer and one of the more exciting things to start next week is a music video for Austrian alt-rockers Slave Called Shiver - Work is starting on a promo for a track from their forthcoming Superlateral album, the track we’re working on is called Pressure and if the rest of the album is even half as good it’s going top be a hum-dinger.

Wish me luck if you have time, I know things will work out but a bit of reassurance would go a long way at the moment.
