Shot some test footage for the Slave Called Shiver promo today, it’s turning into a bit of a nightmare and I just want a huge baseball bat of inspiration to crack me across the ankles. I shot a very rough lip-sync with Alice who’s playing Alicia or is at least proposed to. I’m hoping the whole thing is just going to come together this week, all my plans seem to fall on their backside. I don’t mean to sound so down about it, i just want something to jump out at me. All my venue requests have been turned down, I’ve contacted several commercial property letting agents today and they’ve all given me a big fat no on ‘indemnity grounds’. Frustrating. Ah well, onward.

All Change

All change at this end, I’m leaving KNP officially on Friday, I have a few things in the pipeline to get me started in the new venture, I’m terrified because I can’t see past the end of the month, but I’m very excited too. If I don’t try I’ll never know if I can survive alone.

My new business will be loosely based around Corporate Video Production but I’m also getting involved in some great creative projects too, I’m currently looking to collaborate on unusual and bespoke video projects, if you have something in mind, especially if you’re a band and would like to take advantage of my generous startup prices then get in touch via paul.higham@gmail.com

Already taking advantage of this offer and one of the more exciting things to start next week is a music video for Austrian alt-rockers Slave Called Shiver - Work is starting on a promo for a track from their forthcoming Superlateral album, the track we’re working on is called Pressure and if the rest of the album is even half as good it’s going top be a hum-dinger.

Wish me luck if you have time, I know things will work out but a bit of reassurance would go a long way at the moment.
